Nick Ellis, co-founder of Harris Ellis Consultancy, began his journey at King’s Rochester, Maidstone, before pursuing a career in the French Alps as a ski instructor and repair specialist. His passion for innovation led to the creation of his own ski repair business, where he built a reputation for craftsmanship, customer service, and hands on leadership.
 
Following this, Nick embarked on a 16-year career in policing, serving in a variety of specialist and leadership roles. Alongside his public service, he founded an organic ski clothing company, hosting sustainability driven events and promoting ethical manufacturing practices across Europe. His entrepreneurial drive also led him to establish an ethical coffee company, pioneering low carbon, cost-effective supply routes that brought organic coffee into the UK market.
 
Beyond his ventures, Nick has developed a strong reputation for career coaching and business transformation in helping individuals up skill, transition into new roles, and achieve meaningful progression through bespoke CV design, mentoring, and strategic guidance. He has also worked with startups and established organisations to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and create financially sustainable growth models.
 
Today, Nick has joined forces with Max Harris to form Harris Ellis Consultancy, a partnership built on shared values of innovation, ethics, and tangible results. Together, they bring an integrated approach to career development, organisational improvement, and project consultancy, supporting clients across the UK and beyond.

Nick holds qualifications in IOSH, NEBOSH, Agile Project management, SIEM Management and CSPO PMI.  

Nick holds a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate.
